Who Holds the Key?
THE APPOINTED ONE
The Bible contains many things hard to understand. Such understanding cannot be had by just anyone; it is a gift of God.
Only the wise appointed by God to understand can have that understanding, and that understanding may lead to many being purified – in the last days.
Dan. 12:9 says, “Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.”
Dan. 12:10 says, “Many shall be purified and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.”

No matter how other pastors ad religious leaders claim that they are of God but they cannot understand God’s word, they are still considered wicked.

Half of my life time I was taught that St. Peter holds the key to the heaven. That is copyrighted by the catholics. Later, I learned through Brother Eli that unless you are lucky enough to be chosen by God, you will never know. Thanks be to God for things He does to me that I do not know anymore. Please take take of Brother Eli and Brother Daniel, and the whole congregation.

Matt 16:18-19 (NAS) – “I also say to you that you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build My church; and the gates of Hades will not overpower it. I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; and whatever you bind on earth shall have been bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall have been loosed in heaven.”
Seems pretty straight forward -
“Yo Simon … I’m gonna call you Pete … cuz Peter means “rock” … & you will represent the foundation of those making up my church … & my church will be in possession of the keys to the Kingdom of Heaven. The keys, of course being really singular … key … or me (Jesus) … & the salvation made possible by my death on the cross. Of course this isn’t a key to be safeguarded, as it can’t be stolen; but instead a key(s) to be shared … because keys give access to secure areas. Go unto the world … & share this key … so others will have access to the secured Kingdom.
… again, seems pretty clear. Blessings – td

If Peter is THE ROCK, just like what the Catholics believe, what kind of foundation will the Church have?
Something founded on sand because Peter is a human being.

When Peter was given the “key” to the kigdom of God, Paul was not yet an apostle.
Paul has a special kind of apostleship. He was chosen separately, on the road to Damascus, far from the twelve, far from Jerusalem and Palestine.
He was given further revelation beyond what the twelve had been proclaiming; (Eph. 3:1-3)
Peter handed down to Paul the leadership of the gospel… “When James, Cephas (Peter), and John, who seemed to be pillars, perceived the grace that was given unto me, they gave to me and Barnabas the right hands of fellowship; that we should go to the heathen (Gentiles), and they unto the circumcision” (Ga. 2:9)
It was unto Paul that the hands of fellowship fell.
In our era of dispensation:
The key to the kingdom of God is in the man who understands the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ; he is the chosen one.
And to me he is no other than Brother Eliseo Soriano.

Who holds the key? Of course the one being handed down. Right now, the key is held by the Holy Spirit. And which preacher does the Holy Spirit is upon? Christians know his name.

A church worker sent this verses, saying the Lion of Juda who could open the Book is Christ -
Bible, King James. Revelation, from The holy Bible, King James version
Chapter 5
1: And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals.
2: And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof?
3: And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon.
4: And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon.
5: And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.

If you read the whole Chapter of Revelation 5,
It is very clear that the “Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, ” is Jesus Christ himself.
Who holds the key?
Of course Jesus Christ, no doubt about that. Since Jesus Christ went back to the Father in heaven, God chose those He favored.
There was Abraham -
Genesis 12:1-4 (King James Version)
1Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father’s house, unto a land that I will shew thee:
2And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:
3And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.
4So Abram departed, as the LORD had spoken unto him; and Lot went with him: and Abram was seventy and five years old when he departed out of Haran.
Also DAvid – Psalm 78:70 (King James Version)
70He chose David also his servant, and took him from the sheepfolds:
Acts 9
1And Saul, yet breathing out threatenings and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, went unto the high priest,
2And desired of him letters to Damascus to the synagogues, that if he found any of this way, whether they were men or women, he might bring them bound unto Jerusalem.
3And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven:
4And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?
5And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.
6And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.
7And the men which journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing a voice, but seeing no man.
8And Saul arose from the earth; and when his eyes were opened, he saw no man: but they led him by the hand, and brought him into Damascus.
9And he was three days without sight, and neither did eat nor drink.
10And there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias; and to him said the Lord in a vision, Ananias. And he said, Behold, I am here, Lord.
11And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the street which is called Straight, and enquire in the house of Judas for one called Saul, of Tarsus: for, behold, he prayeth,
12And hath seen in a vision a man named Ananias coming in, and putting his hand on him, that he might receive his sight.
13Then Ananias answered, Lord, I have heard by many of this man, how much evil he hath done to thy saints at Jerusalem:
14And here he hath authority from the chief priests to bind all that call on thy name.
15But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel:
16For I will shew him how great things he must suffer for my name’s sake.
In the end times, God said:
Daniel 12:8-10 (King James Version)
8And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things?
9And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end.
10Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.
WHO HOLDS THE KEY? – MY REPLY IS SIMPLE AND BIBLICAL…
John 9:25 (King James Version)
25He answered and said, Whether he be a sinner or no, I know not: one thing I know, that, whereas I was blind, now I see.
Thanks.
